Paint inventory and bottle status
Keep paint names, product codes, possession status, bottle counts, and remaining levels together.
We build software for the practical color work behind model making: paint inventory, color matching, label scanning, mixed-color records, and next adjustment notes. Our first iOS app is Irisrecia, now in App Store review.
Irisrecia helps modelers compare target colors against their own paint inventory, run small tests, and record the actual mixed ratio, dried test piece, failed trials, and next adjustment notes.
CIE Lab and DeltaE2000 are used as practical references, not as replacements for real test pieces. Barcode-first label scanning, OCR fallback, bottle counts, and catalog search support the inventory side of the workflow.
The goal is not to replace judgment. Irisrecia gives the modeler's eye a numerical companion while keeping the actual bench record: what was mixed, what failed, what the test piece looked like, and what to adjust next.
Keep paint names, product codes, possession status, bottle counts, and remaining levels together.
Compare target colors against available paints using a perceptual color-difference reference, then verify with a real test piece.
Record the actual ratio you mixed, the dried result, failed trials, and the next adjustment direction.
Start from a barcode when available, then fall back to OCR candidates when a product is not yet registered.
AetherForge Lab comes from hands-on color work across ceramics, photography, design, and scale modeling. Irisrecia is shaped by the small decisions that happen after a bottle is opened: what color is close enough, what was actually mixed, what failed, and what should be tried next.
That is why the app treats manufacturer data carefully. Official or permissioned catalog data is preferred, while estimated color data must be labeled as an approximation.
Irisrecia is designed to help modelers use paint data responsibly without turning the app into an advertising channel. Manufacturer names, color names, product numbers, trademarks, and official data are handled with respect for each right holder.
We are open to small pilot collaborations, especially where a focused color range can benefit from inventory workflows and user-made color records.
